Questions advertisers ask
Who can advertise here?
Products and services relevant to attorneys or companies dealing with AI and privacy risk. We don't accept ads unrelated to the legal, compliance, or technology audience this directory serves.
Are ads labeled as advertising?
Yes. Every banner is marked "Advertisement," and featured listings carry a visible "Featured" badge distinct from standard, organically ranked profiles.
What are the standard contract terms?
Display ads and featured listings are billed monthly, in advance, with no long-term contract required — a placement runs month to month until either side cancels. Either party may cancel any time before the next billing date; there are no refunds for the current billing period, since the placement has already run or been reserved. We reserve the right to reject or remove creative that doesn't fit the audience or that we determine, in good faith, misrepresents the advertiser's product. [Confirm these terms with your own counsel before publishing them — this is a starting template, not legal advice.]
Can I run a short-term campaign?
Yes. Placements are sold monthly with no minimum commitment beyond a single month, so a short campaign is simply a one-month booking. Multi-month bookings can be discussed directly — mention your timeline in the request form below.
Who owns the ad creative and how is it approved?
Advertisers supply and own their own creative (banner images, copy, and destination links) and are responsible for its accuracy and compliance with applicable advertising law. We review creative before it goes live and may decline placements that are misleading, unrelated to the site's audience, or that could be confused with editorial content or an attorney listing.
How is payment handled?
[Describe your actual payment flow here once it's set up — for example, "Invoiced via [provider], due net 15" or "Charged automatically via [Stripe] on the first of each month."]
